We have a long history of accounting, taxes, and running small businesses in our family. (Sounds so exciting, right?) My father, Joseph Kritch, was an accountant in Cincinnati, Ohio for 15 years before moving our family to Florida to open a grocery store in which we all worked. When the kids went off to college the grocery store was sold and a new accounting/tax firm was established in the Clearwater/St. Pete area specializing in small businesses. After obtaining a Masters and Ph.D., and working for 12 years as a budget research director within an international organization, Kale (Joe's son) met and married Jen who had earned a Masters degree and operated two of her own insurance and tax firms. It was a perfect fit for Jen and Kale to leave their careers and take over the family accounting/tax firm. The rest is history.
